Delete your Condei account

Delete it in the app

The quickest way, on an iPhone, iPad, Mac or Android device where you are signed in: open Condei and go to Settings → Account → Delete account.

Your sign-in and your encryption keys are removed at once, which makes your notes unreadable for good. The encrypted notes are then removed from Condei's servers within 30 days. Notes on your own devices, and in your own iCloud if you use it, are yours to remove.

Notes and folders you share with other people stop being shared when the account is deleted. The people you shared them with are told, and can keep a copy for 7 days. Shares you were invited to are left. The app counts both before you confirm.

No longer have the app?

Enter the email address your Condei account uses. We will email it a link to confirm the request. Nothing happens until you open that link and confirm, and then the Condei team deletes the account and tells you when it is done.

If you used Sign in with Apple and chose Hide My Email, enter that relay address: it ends in @privaterelay.appleid.com, and Apple forwards our email to you.

We use this address only to send the confirmation link and to process your request, and keep it for 30 days after the request is closed. See how we handle deletion requests in our privacy policy.

If your account has no email address you can reach

This form works for accounts that have an email address with Condei: accounts made with an email and password, and Apple or Google accounts where the address, or Apple's relay address, was shared. If yours has none, or you no longer have that mailbox, write to support@condei.app with what you remember about the account. We will ask you to show it is yours before anything is deleted.
